A former Fargo mayor is spreading the valley's message about flooding and drought along the Red River. Bruce Furness spoke at a two day governor's conference in Bismarck. The theme, Too Much or Too Little: The Story of Water in North Dakota". Furness talked about challenges in the years ahead.

Bruce Furness – Former Fargo Mayor: β€œIt has to be dealt with at some point in time. It's going to be expensive to deal with it. And people need to just keep talking about it and how we can solve these problems.”

The goal of the conference is to help officials with long term water decisions.
