Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- The North Dakota Human Rights Coalition meets for the first time to come up with strategies to combat discrimination.

The goal is to make sure everyone has full human rights. Members talked about laws including wheel chair accessibility, education, even the Sioux nickname and logo. The meeting is aimed at getting a plan of action for the future.

Barry Nelson, NDHRC Chair, says, “We want to make sure that we don't just exclusively look at policy, but we look at what people can be doing to change things in their community, and make sure they support all people in North Dakota.”
