A SWAT Team and Fargo Police tonight swarmed a South Fargo home, and detained three people in connection with the overnight armed robbery at Royal Liquors. Fargo police got a search warrant earlier today for this house at 14th street and 6th avenue. Police want to emphasize the three people detained are not under arrest.

Federal Marshalls assisted a massive Red River Valley SWAT Team that stormed the south Fargo home, bringing three adults from the house. Police confirm the search warrant here and the detaining of the three are all connected to the armed robbery at Royal Liquors overnight. No one was injured during the SWAT action, but Police and SWAT Team members did uses flash bomb to distract those in the house. All in an effort to follow up on evidence and witness interviews at the robbery scene.

Lt. Joel Vettel: “Not just one thing led us to this house, a number of things led us, the investigation is continuing we are making good headway and move forward.”

This has been a huge joint effort today. Fargo Police called in members of the Fugitive Task Force and the Drug Task Force to investigate and now detain these three people.
