Barnes County North school bond voted down

For the third time in a little over a year, people in the Barnes County North School district reject a centralized school building. Out of 900 votes cast, the bond got 56% support, but needed 60% to pass. The school board was hoping to build a $13.9 million building near Leal. The last vote for a $14.5 million school got 57% support. The school district currently has facilities north of Rogers, at Wimbledon and at Spiritwood.
