North Dakota Veterans Cemetery will get a clean up with the help of a grant

Mandan, ND (WDAY TV) -- A Department of Veterans Affairs grant is keeping the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery in order.

Mandan, ND (WDAY TV) -- A Department of Veterans Affairs grant is keeping the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery in order.

372 thousand dollars will be used for maintenance, to realign and clean grave stones, and regrow grass. The cemetery, near Mandan, opened in 1992. There is more than five thousand veterans and family members buried there. The cemetery has about 400 burials a year.
