Strange light spotted in the sky across the midwest

The strange light (seen here as a long streak just to the right of the street lights) has been spotted above several states in the midwest.
A lot of people are reporting seeing a bright flash of light moving across the sky early Wednesday, but no one knows what it is. From the Dakotas, to Minnesota to Nebraska, the mysterious object moves at a fast rate above the horizon, then disappears in the sky. An Air Force base in Nebraska says it's not theirs. So the mystery continues.
