A West Fargo landlord has been found guilty of aggravated assault and reckless endangerment. A 12 person jury found 73 year old Alois Vetter guilty of intentionally driving over ex-tenant Brian Hemphill, 31, with his Hummer. Hemphill suffered three broken ribs and injuries to his head and face back in February. The jury also ruled that the Hummer, used in the assault, should be considered a "deadly weapon,” meaning Vetter will have to serve at least two years in prison and he could get up to five years when he is sentenced in two months.
