FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A North Dakota man accused of possessing nearly 750 videotapes of child pornography has pleaded guilty in federal court.
Thirty-seven-year-old Benjamin Hager of Wahpeton was charged with receiving and possessing materials involving the sexual exploitation of minors in a case that linked him with a Detroit-area man who authorities say used his four underage daughters to create and distribute child porn. Robert Mueller was sentenced in September to serve 45 years in prison.
Court documents indicate Hager and Mueller traded emails as well as packages by mail.
U.S. Attorney Timothy Purdon says Hager faces up to 30 years in prison when he is sentenced Jan. 4.
