Moorhead students get lesson in puppet building

Moorhead students are taking advantage of some days off to design and build puppets. At the Bluestem Center for the Arts, the Heart of the Beast Theatre from Minneapolis is working with local students. They are not only taking part in puppet classes, but the students will be creating some large scale puppets. Some of them will be used in Moorhead’s upcoming performance of "Children of Eden" at this high school.

Julie Boada – Heart of the Beast Theatre: “The high schoolers are working on a play where they need puppets for two scenes so that is what we are creating puppets for those two scenes.”

Tomorrow elementary students are welcome to come and help make masks.
