Lake Park-Audubon Elementary school holds dedication

After months of construction, Lake-Park Audobon has finally put the finishing touches on it's elementary school. The school held a dedication this morning to honor the $3.5 million renovation and expansion project. Students and teachers also put things into a time capsule, like textbooks and supplies from the school store. The dedication comes on the heels of LPA officials finding out their students scored above average in reading and math at every single grade level.

Sam Skaaland – LPA Elementary Principal: “It's also a big responsibility to carry on the tradition of excellent education here at Lake Park-Audubon school and to work our hardest to do our best because of what the communities have done for us.”

The new Lake Park-Audubon High School is set to be complete next year.
