The $69,000 project was funded mainly through the Federal Highway Administration's National Scenic Byways Program. It shows panoramic views of the Pembina Gorge, Pembina River and forest land.
The overlook includes a covered shelter, an interpretive panel and sculptures representing the state's native trees.
