Halloween Decorations Causing Stir

Hibbing, MN (WDAY TV) -- A Halloween themed yard decoration is creating quite a stir in Hibbing.
People have filed hate crime complaints to police through Facebook. It seems a stuffed dummy hanging from a tree, among other spooky props, is creating controversy. Some say it mimics a racist lynching.
The Display owners say, "We picked up a white skeleton mask put it on him because we were not meaning at all for it to be any racial issues, any kind of you know bigotry.
"I can see if I had it hanging up at like Fourth of July time or you know something like that but its 1/8 covered with a spooky prop in a tree 3/8 Halloween for cryin' out loud."
The family plans to alter the display
