DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) — The attorney for fired Dickinson State University president Richard McCallum says his client will attend a hearing to appeal the decision.
Chancellor William Goetz told McCallum in August he no longer had a job because of an audit report accusing him of inflating enrollment numbers at the college.
The state Board of Higher Education has to approve the dismissal. McCallum has the right to challenge the decision.
Attorney Benjamin Thomas of Fargo tells The Dickinson Press that he and McCallum don't have a plan for the hearing.
The meeting is scheduled Wednesday morning in Bismarck.
