Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- A church in Grand Forks is setting up its very own pumpkin patch with some unusual pumpkins. Zion United Methodist has brought in 16-hundred pumpkins and gourds grown in the sands of New Mexico. Everyone is invited to the pumpkin patch. Proceeds helps mission projects. The annual pumpkin patch raised 22-hundred dollars last year. Amanda Loiland, a church member, says, "I know they had gone to an Indian Reservation in South Dakota and they helped to paint, and rebuild some homes, and clean up some lots, and mow and just do a lot of random good will work." The patch is every day this month. Pumpkins have suggested prices but everything is free will.
