Attorneys give closing argument in Jeffrey Silvernail case

Wahpeton, ND (WDAY TV) - Attorneys gave their closing arguments and jurors in Wilkin County have now started deliberations in the murder trial of Jeff Silvernail.

Attorneys gave their closing arguments and jurors in Wilkin County have now started deliberations in the murder trial of Jeff Silvernail. Silvernail is accused of killing his ex-girlfriend Lori Roberts two years ago. In closing arguments this morning, prosecutors acknowledged the evidence against Silvernail is circumstantial but argued his guilt was proven through his motive and opportunity.
