Cavalier voters reject $11.5M school bond measure
CAVALIER, N.D. (AP) — Residents of the northeast North Dakota city of Cavalier have overwhelmingly rejected a proposed $11.5 million school bond issue.
CAVALIER, N.D. (AP) — Residents of the northeast North Dakota city of Cavalier have overwhelmingly rejected a proposed $11.5 million school bond issue.
The Grand Forks Herald reports (http://bit.ly/p5MTKM ) that the unofficial results of Tuesday's election show 75 percent of voters against the proposal. About 1,250 people voted.
Superintendent Frank Schill says the project would have upgraded the K-12 school that has about 400 students.
