A former Breckenridge principal is accused of assaulting a student in Floodwood, Minnesota. School officials put Principal Daniel Bettin on administrative leave after the incident. A Floodwood family says Bettin came up behind an 11 year-old boy grabbed him by the neck and shoved his face to a lunch table, resulting in some bruising and a scratch on the child's neck. They say it happened after the boy flicked his rice in the lunchroom. The district Superintendent did not confirm an assault.
