It might have been frustrating for drivers, but that convoy of semi-trucks was for a good cause. Truckers teamed with law enforcement for the Special Olympics. 30 trucks took part in the World's Largest Truck Convoy. All 50 states had their own convoy. This is North Dakota's. The lead truck paid 28-hundred dollars to be first. All others paid 100 dollars.

Kathy Meagher – President of Special Olympics North Dakota: “Corporations are diverting their funding to flood relief efforts and naturally so and one of the things we have to do as special Olympics is that we are a people program and we have to provide these opportunities for people.”

No word yet if a record was set.
