Maris had tough road to win over Yankees' fans

This has been a ceremony months in the planning and both the fans and players know the Yankees know how to put on a party.
It was the most cherished record in sports, Babe Ruth's single-season homerun record. 50 years ago Roger Maris and Mickey Mantle were both on pace to break it. Yankee fans wanted Mantle, not Maris to break it. As WDAY 6 Sports Director Dom Izzo tells us from New York tonight it took a while, but Roger won them over.
