Orchard Park, NY (WDAY TV) -- Phil Hansen’s big day in Buffalo was a hit during half-time of the Buffalo Bills-Oakland Raiders game. The Oakes native who played 11 seasons with Buffalo was inducted into the Bill’s wall of fame.

WDAY’s Dom Izzo says, “Hi everyone, welcome back to Buffalo. Where Phil Hansen officially became a Bill’s immortal with his name going up on the wall of fame. His family surrounded him at half-time of today's game the team presented Hansen with a ring and a car, something that surprised him and his family he then had a chance to address the near 70,000 in attendance.”

Phil says, “You can remember me as consistent, dependable, and accountable for how I played. And if that's as good as it gets, then that's what I am. This is even more special for me. My kids weren't born when I played, and now I can show them what I did and you are all a part of that.”
