Fire destroyed a garage in Horace late last night.
Horace, ND (WDAY TV) - Fire destroyed a garage in Horace late last night. The fire department was called to the home at about 10:40.
The Horace fire chief says when they arrived, the garage was engulfed in flames. A vehicle inside is destroyed and it's not clear yet what caused the fire, but the smell of smoke woke up the family of five inside the home.
RYAN HEGEL - Horace Fire Chief: “Homeowner went out, opened up the garage door, heavy smoke in the garage immediately shut the door and then called 911.”
The family's home does have some smoke damage.
