The house of hospitality is serving up soup to help out the hungry. The Fargo-Moorhead Dorothy Day house hosted its annual Soup Supper at St. Josephs Catholic Church. People looking for a meal paid 10 bucks for a hand painted ceramic bowl filled with hot soup. There was also a silent auction where anyone could bid on things like computers and gym memberships. All the money goes to the Dorothy Day House which helps homeless and people in need.
Sonja Ellner – Dorothy Day House Director: “Its great we've had a great turn out. We’re running out of table space, so that’s a good problem to have, definitely.”
306 people were served, and a total of $6,000 was raised.
