ND man pleads guilty to federal assault charge
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A North Dakota man has pleaded guilty for attacking a man with a utility knife.

Kyle Star, of Parshall, is charged in federal court with assault with a dangerous weapon. He faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.
Authorities say the assault happened in May at Average Joe's Bar in Parshall, after Star and the victim argued. The 33-year-old Star allegedly cut the victim in the back with the knife.
Sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 12 in Bismarck.
