Updated: Man Killed When Pickup Crashes onto Fargo Air Base; Victim Identified

Fargo, ND (WDAY-TV) -- One man is dead after an accident in north Fargo. Fargo Police say at about 12:15 am 32-year old Mary A. Burns of Dayton, TX was driving a pickup truck north on 16th Street missed a curve.

Fargo, ND (WDAY-TV) -- One man is dead after an accident in north Fargo. Fargo Police say at about 12:15 am 32-year old Mary A. Burns of Dayton, TX was driving a pickup truck north on 16th Street missed a curve.

She hit an embankment and crashed through a fence surrounded the North Dakota Air National Guard base.

Burns was transported to a local hospital for injuries related to the crash. She was arrested for DUI in relation to the crash.

A male passenger, 55-year old Harold Pinkney, Jr. of Toledo, OH was declared dead at the scene of the accident. An autopsy is planned as part of the investigation into the crash.

Police say speed and alcohol both appear to be factors in the fatal accident.

The crash is still under investigation.
