Horace apartment building damaged by fire

Horace, ND (WDAY TV) - Firefighters are on the scene of an apartment building that's on fire in Horace. It's on 201 Southwood Drive in Horace.

Two residents from the 12-unit building tell us they notice the fire this morning in a detached garage and tried to put it out using extinguishers, but the fire was too far gone by then.

They say the flames then blew over to the apartment building. It happened at about 3:30 this morning.

The center section of the garages collapsed with several vehicles left sitting inside. There is extensive damage to the apartment building as well. It's not clear yet what exactly started the fire.
