Casselton, ND (WDAY TV) -- Casselton may be a small community, but it's one with a very special and proud tradition. North Dakota Governor Jack Dalrymple is the fifth person from Casselton to have that position. This afternoon, he was honored at a ceremony and given his own bench in governor's park. Dalrymple says it's the people in town and its way of life that make him the man he is today. He says, “it would not have been possible for us to live the interesting life that we have if we hadn't had the great support of a home community like Casselton.” An American Elm tree was planted in his honor.
