With the warm weather at Sodbuster Days, some volunteers are gearing up for a busy day cranking out cool sweet treats.

LAVONNE: Oh we are going to be busy.

LAVONNE: Dupree has been attending Sodbuster Days for years.

She along with her husband are now volunteers.

They are serving up homemade chocolate, vanilla, cherry, blueberry, and raspberry ice cream.

Dupree says the weather won’t be the only thing keeping them busy.

LAVONNE: Well the hand cranking, of course Sodbuster Days everything is old fashioned so we have to. The guys work very hard cranking it by hand.

Last year Dupree and the other volunteers cranked out 46 gallons of ice cream.

Sodbuster Days continues tomorrow from 10:30 until 4 P-M.
