(WDAY TV) - Sentencing is set for today for convicted murderer Thomas Fairbanks. He'll be sentenced to life in prison this afternoon in Polk County.
Last week, a jury found him guilty of First degree murder in the shooting death of Mahnomen County Sheriff's Deputy Chris Dewey. It took jurors about 8 hours to reach that decision.
