A Valley City Supermarket is honoring those who died on 9/11 in a unique way. The grocery store is selling a unique print of the Manhattan skyline in an effort to raise money for the Valley City Fire Department.
What makes this print so unique is the picture was taken by a West Fargo photographer just days before 9/11.
Proceeds from sales of the print at Marketplace Foods in Valley City will help the local fire department here buy another infrared camera firefighters can use when searching for victims at fire scenes.
The posters are $10. The store hopes to raise enough money to help the fire department pay for the $10,000 thermal imaging camera.
