(WDAY TV) - Voters in the Central Cass School District will head back to the polls on September 29th as the school asks for a $4.8 million dollar addition to the k-through-12 school.

A similar vote failed back in April, 27 votes short of the 60-percent super-majority needed to pass. Instead of creating a permanent 20-mil building fund, the vote calls only for approval of the project with the bonds to be paid over 20 years.

If approved, the addition would add six new classrooms, an auditorium, a 3rd full-size gym and more space for music practice, locker rooms and storage. For the owners of a $100-thousand dollar home, it would be an additional $90-dollars a year in property taxes.
