Man sentenced in Jamestown truck stop arson fire

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (AP) — The co-owner of a Jamestown truck stop that was destroyed by an arson fire last year has been sentenced to serve 60 days in jail.
The Jamestown Sun reports (http://bit.ly/nP57HS ) that Scot Soulis of Casselton pleaded guilty to a felony criminal conspiracy charge in the Feb. 3, 2010, blaze at the S&R Truck Plaza. He was ordered to pay about $575 in fines and fees and $100,000 in restitution.
About $8,000 of the restitution is to be paid together with Joshua Marsaa, a former night manager at the business who pleaded guilty in June to an arson charge. He was sentenced to about two years in prison and $1,100 in fees in addition to the restitution.
