Authorities identify victims in Hankinson shooting

The Richland County Sheriff's office is calling a shooting near the Dakota Magic Casino accidental. Authorities say 29 year-old Anthony Hayes was taken to a Fargo hospital with a wound to his hand, and 28 year-old Kari Dumarce was taken to a Sioux Falls hospital with a wound to her abdomen.
Neither injury was believed to be life-threatening. Hayes told authorities he was unloading a handgun when it went off. They believe alcohol played a role. Local, state and federal authorities from two states are investigating.
