Calvary Lutheran Church of Perham holds mobile food drop

Perham, MN (WDAY TV) - Hundreds of people in Otter Tail County turned out at Calvary Lutheran Church in Perham for a mobile food drop.

    Between 150 and 180 families came by for free food and backpacks filled with school supplies.

Hundreds of people in Otter Tail County turned out at Calvary Lutheran Church in Perham for a mobile food drop. Between 150 and 180 families came by for free food and backpacks filled with school supplies. The project community connect event was sponsored by the United Way and Perham Rotary.120 volunteers were on hand to help dish out the food and supplies.

Pastor Phil Holtan – Calvary Lutheran Church, Perham: “We're a prosperous community there is no reason that everybody can't have enough to eat. “

This was the third year for the mobile food drop.
