Fairbanks trial loses another juror

Crookston, MN (WDAY TV) - Another juror is out at the Thomas Fairbanks murder trial in Crookston.

Another juror is out at the Thomas Fairbanks murder trial in Crookston. The juror is battling an infection from a cyst near his ear. That leaves 14 jurors, including two alternates. During testimony, a St. Paul Medical examiner described the ravages Deputy Christopher Dewey's body went through in the 18 months after he was shot. The six-foot, two-inch Dewey weighed 250 pounds when he was shot. At his autopsy, his weighed 123 pounds. Fairbanks faces life in prison if convicted.
