The Forum reports (http://bit.ly/nnbCn9 ) that the plans were released Friday at Sanford Health's annual gala in Sioux Falls, S.D.
The center will include 371 hospital beds and will feature an X-shaped footprint.
Construction on the center is planned to start in 2013 and be finished three years later.
The new medical center in southwest Fargo, and $30 million in renovations planned for Sanford Health's downtown Fargo campus are among $600 million in projects under development for the health system.
