Republican Governor Jack Dalrymple says he's been too busy with flooding, the Fighting Sioux nickname and other issues to give a run serious consideration.

Dalrymple said he would announce his decision no later than this fall. He spent 10 years as lieutenant governor before moving into the top spot in January 2011 when then Governor John Hoeven was sworn in to the U.S. Senate.
