So popular are those pilots in blue, Fargo is asking them back, again. Organizers of the Fargo AirSho estimate 30,000 people came to watch the Blue Angels and other acts this weekend. Sunday's Blue Angel performance was delayed, as were some commercial flights into Fargo, because another performer forgot to lower his landing gear and had to belly land. He was not injured. Organizers say the weather cooperated and made for one of the best air shows on record. An effort will be made to bring the Navy's Blue Angels back in two years.

Dick Walstad – AirSho Co-Chairman: “They were really content, they just flew out of town, the message was "we will be back."

The next AirSho will be in 2013. More than 70 volunteers served on the AirSho committee that organized the event.
