YMCA holds kids Olympics

Today, children from the YMCA become Olympians. YMCA's Schlossman branch held an Olympic themed event. Kids took part in t-shirt races, tug of war, spoon balance, and the long jump. 16 area locations were supposed to take part, but each branch decided to stay at its own individual location due to the uncertain weather.

Caitlin Heller – School Age Leader: “We are the brown team. We are having our own little Olympics because we were worried about the weather so instead of having all the sites here today we had just our site so it's a little fun.”

YMCA officials say the event is a great way to get kids active.
