Stuff the Bus campaign provides students with school supplies

Hundreds of students in Richland and Wilkin County will be getting new school supplies this year. Today, The United Way of Richland-Wilkin held it's Stuff the Bus campaign. The Double Decker Bus stopped at several businesses including St. Francis Hospital. The bus was stuffed with backpacks, pencil boxes, and other school supplies.

Colette Barton – United Way of Richland-Wilkin: “We at United Way feel it's critical that our children go to school ready to learn. Part of that is that they have the supplies needed so when they walk through those school doors, they're on equal playing field with their peers.”

If you'd like to help, the United Way is still collecting school supplies at its office.
