Battalion chief dies in logging accident

ROCHESTER, Minn. (AP) — A battalion chief for the Rochester Fire Department has died in a logging accident.

Fire officials say Chuck Hermann was off duty at the time of the accident Thursday on property he owns.

The Post-Bulletin says (http://bit.ly/nhqmAx) Hermann was also an auctioneer who specialized in real estate. He was the owner of Hermann Auctions.
