Area rivers on the rise

The Red River in Fargo-Moorhead is 23.53, expecting to reach 27-feet by Friday. In Wahpeton-Breckenridge, the river is at 11.88, forecasted to get to 12-and-a-half feet this morning. And in Grand Forks The Red is at 22.44, expected to rise to 30 feet by early next week.

In Valley City, The Sheyenne is at 15.38, expected to reach 16-and-a-half feet today and stay at that level for several days. In Lisbon, The Sheyenne is at 11.90, expected to reach 16-feet next week as releases from the Baldhill Dam head downstream.

The Buffalo River at Sabin is at 11.58, headed to 13 feet tomorrow evening and in Dilworth The Buffalo is at 11.5, headed to 15.5 Friday.
