Rapid City shootout results in stray bullets
RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - At least one business and one home are reporting being hit by stray bullets after a shootout at a Rapid City intersection in which one police officer was killed, two others were injured and a suspect also was shot.

Resident Karen Gilson tells KEVN-TV that a bullet went through her dining room window and hit a chair and table Tuesday. She says her family was fine, but scared.
The Rapid City Journal reports that the owners of a Blockbuster video store reported to police that a bullet came through their wall and hit two DVD cases. A store official says the two employees and a handful of customers in the store were not hurt.
Police Chief Steve Allender says authorities hope to recover all the bullets from the shooting.
