American Crystal employees to vote on contract

In less than 24 hours 1,300 American Crystal Sugar employees will agree to a new contract, or be without a job. Tomorrow afternoon employees up and down the Valley will vote on a $75,000 a year contract that includes benefits. Company leaders say they are confident the Union employees will agree to the contract which will give them an 8% pay increase in the first year.
Brian Ingulsrud – Crystal Sugar V.P. Adminstration: “I’m pretty confident that they'll arrive at the yes decision and there will not be a lockout.”
Governor Mark Dayton visited with both sides today in a visit to the Red River Valley.
