DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) — A Hebron man has been sentenced to a year in prison for a crash that killed a motorcycle rider.
The Dickinson Press reports that Clinton Neidhardt was sentenced Tuesday in Southwest District Court for negligent homicide.
The Highway Patrol says the crash happened near Richardton in July 2010. Troopers say the 41-year-old Neidhardt failed to stop at a stop sign, causing 45-year-old Timothy White's motorcycle to collide with the car.
White died at the scene.
Neidhardt was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence but that charge was later dropped.
