Former Sioux hockey player is focused on putting it together this season

(WDAY TV) - The NHL life has been a mixed bag for Moorhead’s Brian Lee.

The NHL life has been a mixed bag for Moorhead’s Brian Lee. The former Sioux defenseman bounced around the AHL and NHL level his first few seasons. But this fall he's focused on putting it all together. Lee played 50 games last year with the senators, with the majority of them coming in the final 2 months of the season. He tallied just three points, but says the playing time will be a huge benefit to him as he enters his 5th year as a pro. Lee says, “should be a good year there was a real good end to the season last year so I’m just trying to pick up where I left off and keep going you know what I haven't set any goal yet, I think we will set individual goals and team goals once we get the season kind of rolling for now I’m just trying to get into the best shape of my life and get bigger faster stronger everything like that get ready for the year.” Lee is set to be a restricted free-agent next spring.
