Battle Lake, MN (WDAY TV) - Battle Lake will be living up its name tomorrow as rein actors commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Civil War.
Battle Lake will be living up its name tomorrow as rein actors commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Civil War. Everything will take place at the Prospect House Civil War Museum off Highway 78.There will be reenactments, cannons and a concert.The museum follows the war path of the founder's Great Grandfather who fought. Jay Johnson, the museum founder, says “ Patriotism is a lot what it's about. My great grandfather was the ultimate patriot. He got shot, went home and recovered, went back, fought some more, got shot again, went back home and recovered, and went back again.”
