Korean War POW coming home to his final resting place

(WDAY TV) - More than 60 years after he died as a prisoner of war in Korea, Corporal James Norman Sund is coming home to his final resting place in Minnesota.
James Sund enlisted in the Army and was taken prisoner during combat in South Korea on February 12th, 1951. He was killed that April at the age of 28.
DNA from Sund's family members was used to identify his remains which will arrive on a flight at Hector airport in Fargo Friday night.
The Minnesota Army National Guard's Honor Guard will perform military honors and Patriot Guard riders will then escort his remains back to his hometown of Thief River Falls where two of his five siblings still live. A funeral is set for Tuesday morning.
