By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY

Recent rain patterns show Central Cass County has been hit harder this year than most other areas in the region. Central Cass's rainfall is around seven to nine inches above average. The FM area's rain fall is five inches above average. This morning's storms dropped about one inch of rain in Fargo, but between two and three and a half inches in Casselton.

Daryl Ritchison – WDAY StormTRACKER Meteorologist: "Sometimes it rains on that side of the street, and not this side of the street. That literally happens. There is always a sharp cutoff and widely varying totals."

Central Cass isn't the only area seeing an increase in rain. Areas to the south and northwest of Fargo have also seen a lot of rain.
