Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY TV) - Police arrested a man accused of burglaries in Sabin, Minnesota after he apparently left his G-E-D certificate at the scene!

34-year-old Ryan Sabot from Moorhead is accused of burglarizing Sabin's C-Store in late May. Deputies say Sabot's name was on the G-E-D certificate left behind in the parking lot next to some fresh tire tracks.

They say it was clear the GED had been left recently because it wasn't wet despite rain earlier in the night. Police arrested Sabot on Friday after he tried to escape Moorhead Police on a bicycle and on foot.

Sabot is also accused of robbing the General Store in Sabin the same night. His bail is set at $10-thosuand dollars.
