Valley City, ND (WDAY TV) - Valley City Police Chief Dean Ross says he has all the proof he needs to show officials that the alleged missing money is accounted for.
Ross is on administrative leave, so at a press conference he insisted he was only there as an individual, and not associated with the police department.
He provided documents which he say shows that he is not responsible for the alleged misappropriation of funds. Ross says at this point he is not resigning.
Ross's administrative leave ends tomorrow. He has to meet with City Administrator Jon Cameron before he can go back to work.
